For installers and cabin suppliers. Every circuit connected to an AutoMate unit must be labelled so each physical circuit can be mapped to the software at commissioning, and so any electrician can identify the wiring at a glance.

What to label
The MCBs in the cabin distribution board, and the appliances themselves. Each appliance carries a label matching its circuit, the heater on the “Heater 1” circuit is labelled “Heater 1”, so any circuit can be traced from board to appliance at a glance.
The inside of the AutoMate unit, meaning the contactors and CTs, is pre-labelled by Gaia. Installers do not need to add any labels there.
Label format
[Circuit type] [number], for example: Heater 1, Heater 2, AC 1, Water boiler 1, Sockets 1, Lights 1, Fan 1.
Where a cabin has more than one circuit of the same type, number them: Heater 1, Heater 2, and so on. Label the dedicated 6A supply to the unit “AutoMate supply”. Monitor-only circuits such as Wi-Fi, comms and showers are labelled the same way, by name.
Cabins with more than one room: add the room to the label: “Heater 1 — Office”, “Heater 2 — Canteen”. If the cabin has only one room, no room name is needed.
Cabin reference
The cabin reference, the cabin or bay number used on the project, does not need to appear on every label. It must simply be accessible: mark it once on the distribution board, or record it on the electrical inspection certificate left inside the cabin.

Note the first row of the standard cabin column: “Heater 1 (or AC 1)”. A standard cabin has one climate appliance on that circuit, whichever it actually has. Where a cabin has both, they become two separately labelled circuits on separate contactors.
